He has broad experience of blue-chip service-based businesses and a successful track record gained in Business Development, Marketing and Operations and in delivering results. Since starting his career as an Account Manager at advertising giant Saatchi & Saatchi as an Account Manager, Peter has:
- Working in a Consultant capacity, appraised new business opportunities for Assura Medical, bringing complementary health practitioners alongside GP Practices.
- Acted as Project Manager for Burn Callander and led 40 Contractors involved with the complete restoration of three historic buildings over a period of seven months.
- Whilst working as Interim Marketing Director for Cheshire Building Society, brought about step change following market review, including leading team planning sessions for their 2007 Marketing activity.
- Directed a groundbreaking corporate advertising campaign and introduced new tactical promotions for products at Cheshire Building Society, whilst also analysing their mortgage strategy and recommending changes.
- Achieved record sales in the results-driven retail finance sector whilst employed as Head of Business Lending at MBNA Europe, acting as a key leader in delivering the ‘superior service’ proposition as staff numbers grew from 90 to over 4,000.
- As Head of Credit Division at MBNA Europe, managed a department of 230 Analysts responsible for all consumer credit card applications.
